Fishing windows: time and weather gates
Two kinds of gates
Some fish bite only during set Eorzea hours, others only under specific weather.
How Eorzea time works
One Eorzea hour lasts 175 real seconds. Weather in a zone changes every eight Eorzea hours, and the same real-world moment always gives the same forecast. Choose a zone on the Eorzea clock to see the current weather window and the windows that follow.
Worked example: Raincaller
This level-43 freshwater fish bites only in Rain or Snow, and it has no clock window. Its page links the fishing spots. Bait and the hookset are on the fishing windows tool.
