Timed gathering nodes and the Eorzea clock
Scheduled spawns
Timed gathering nodes appear during listed Eorzea hours and stay open for a fixed span. The level-50 logging node in Mor Dhona opens at ET 1:00, 5:00 and 9:00. Each opening lasts 180 Eorzea minutes, three ET hours. This node has no weather requirement.
Reading the windows
Open Timing and alarms on a timed source in your gathering itinerary. The clock keeps that source selected and shows the same material and node, rather than a search for a similar name. Eorzea time and your local time appear together. Source rows show their daily Eorzea window and the next opening in local time; an active window is marked Open now with its closing time. A window that crosses midnight continues into the following Eorzea day. The View location action opens the selected node, while Source details remains available when coordinates are not known. None of these times predicts how many gathering attempts you will need. For example, the ephemeral Fire Crystal source in the Dravanian Forelands opens from 04:00 to 08:00 ET. Four Eorzea hours last 11 minutes and 40 seconds in real time. The level-50 Mor Dhona logging source above remains open for 180 Eorzea minutes, which is 8 minutes and 45 seconds in real time. Choose the source that fits your character and trip, not just the earliest clock time.
Setting an alarm without losing your plan
Choose At opening or a reminder one, five or fifteen real minutes before the opening, then select Set alarm on the material source you need. Enable notifications when the browser asks for permission. A blocked permission does not mean an alarm has already fired: change the browser setting and use Check permission. My alarms narrows the list to your selected sources. The choice is saved on this device when storage is available, so reloading does not require selecting the same sources again. If storage is blocked, the page explains that changes remain in the open tab only. Keep the page open for reminders; closing it stops notifications. A successful notification is not repeated for the same source opening. Filtering the list does not delete your other alarms. Use the Gathering itinerary action to return to the same shared crafting goals and owned quantities. The reminder helps with timing, but it does not gather an item, reserve a node, or guarantee a yield.
Combining gathering and fishing
A gathering node’s listed Eorzea-time window describes that source. Fish can have their own time and weather conditions; check the chosen fish separately before combining fishing with a gathering trip.
